Rocky Mountain Race Week brings 300+ drag and drive cars to Tulsa Raceway Park

Rocky Mountain Race Week returns to Osage Casino and Hotel Tulsa Raceway Park with the 10th running of the drag and drive event!

Rocky Mountain Race Week is the brainchild of Matt Frost, creating the event after attending Hot Rod Drag Week in 2014 (the one that visited Tulsa Raceway Park....)! The first year saw around 50 cars and this year will host 300+ racers and what the team refers to as Road Weekers! Racers of the event signed up months ago to participate, with previous year contestants receiving early access. The event sold out in just minutes once opened to the public!

Racers are required to drive their racecar from track to track, so these are true Street Cars! The unique approach to this style of racing results in a group of nomadic hot rodders doing all they can to run their best ET while also keeping their car, copilots and themselves in competition over more than 1200 miles of Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri public highways.

Sunday June 23rd is Day One of the event and will consist of tech from 8am until complete. Racers will begin making passes around 3pm and will use each day's timeslip to create an average ET that will set their standings in their respective classes.

This is a great event for you to talk with racers, copilots and the staff about drag and drive events.

You'll see many Road Weekers participating in the event as well. This group follows along with the racers, following the same route as the racers. If time allows, these participants are even offered the ability to make passes at the end of each day.

We look forward to hosting another premier drag and drive event here at Osage Casino & Hotel Tulsa Raceway Park and hope you will join us.
